The Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) will launch Wild Growth: An Assessment of Erdenes Mongol (also available in Mongolian) on 18 June from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Blue Sky Hotel’s Crystal Room in Ulaanbaatar. State-owned enterprises in general and Erdenes Mongol in particular play a very important role in the economy and the mining sector of Mongolia, but they often are faced with governance challenges.

This NRGI event brings together extractive industry stakeholders from governments, companies, civil society, academics, researchers and international development agencies and provides an opportunity to discuss Erdenes Mongol company governance, including structure, finances, operations and legal environment, as well as the key challenges the company faces and our recommendations going forward.

For more information on the event and registration, please contact Ms. O.Solongo at solongo@resourcegovernance.org or telephone 95952637.
