Edelyne Paul
Accounting and Human Resources Support Officer
Based in New York, Edelyne joined NRGI in 2015. Working closely with NRGI’s controller, she assists and supports in implementing day-to-day financial processes and control standards. She executed all accounting and finance functions, drawing on her knowledge of cash and accrual accounting systems. She has experience in all aspects of financial budgeting, resource allocation, policies, control procedures, treasury management, financial statements and donor reporting. She trains members of teams on daily operations and supports the human resources team in administering benefits.
Prior to joining NRGI, Edelyne worked as the accounting and administrative manager at the Haitian Education and Leadership Program (Haiti and New York), where she led and oversaw the finance and administrative department for 10 years. Previously, she served four years at The Haitian Project, where she was responsible for office operations management.
Edelyne holds a M.A. in business administration-accounting, a B.S. in public accountancy from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and a B.S. in managerial science from the Institute University Quisqueya America of Haiti. She moved from Haiti to the United States in 2010 and speaks French and Creole.
