Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Moses manages NRGI’s East Africa portfolio, including country programs in Tanzania and Uganda.

Prior to joining NRGI, Moses served in various senior program management , leadership and consultancy roles at the Norwegian Church Aid, Legal Services Facility, NORAD, DFID and UNDP. Moses represented the Africa CSO constituency on the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) international board from 2015 to 2019.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Makerere University Kampala, master’s degree in tax and revenue administration law from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and a postgraduate diploma in economic diplomacy from Tanzania’s Centre for Foreign Relations and other post graduate studies in public policy and economic governance from South Africa and Energy from Yale University. In 2015, Moses was NRGI-PETRAD fellow in Stavanger, Norway where he studied petroleum development operations and policy management. He has written and published in these areas among others.
