OECD Global Anticorruption & Integrity Forum
28 March 2018 • 11:30AM EDT
Under the theme “Planet Integrity,” this year's OECD Global Anticorruption & Integrity Forum will debate how integrity cultivates a level playing field for business, reduces socioeconomic inequalities, and makes public policies more effective, enhancing the benefits of globalization for all. Be part of the conversation using #OECDIntegrity.
NRGI advisor Patrick Heller will participate in a 28 March parallel session providing new evidence on national approaches to fighting corruption and promoting integrity in state-owned enterprises (SOEs). Panelists and participants will identify targeted and effective solutions for mitigating corruption risks, engaging in a consultation on the development of new OECD guidance for the state as owners of SOEs. The efficacy and applicability of these solutions will be considered in light of countries’ ownership and corporate governance models. A special focus could be given to high-impact processes such as privatisation and public procurement, or high-impact sectors such as oil and gas and energy. More information on that panel is below.
