Aye Kyithar Swe
Chief of Staff
As NRGI’s chief of staff, Aye works closely with the managing director to increase organizational effectiveness and impact. She contributes to the design and implementation of cross-functional processes including organizational goal setting, strategic planning and learning, annual budgeting and organizational governance. She also leads internal coordination of grants that cover various teams and jurisdictions, and supports donor relations. Within NRGI, Aye has previously served as regional programs manager, Myanmar country manager and senior officer.
Prior to joining NRGI, Aye managed the Harvard Ash Center’s Myanmar program at Proximity Designs. Before that, she was based in Singapore with Control Risks and Dow Jones focusing on business intelligence, corporate investigations and political analysis, and in India with Tata Motors working on corporate social responsibility strategy, implementation and assessment.
Aye holds a B.Sc. in economics from Singapore Management University.
