Dorjdari Namkhaijantsan
Mongolia Manager
Dorjdari is based in Ulaanbaatar and works with Mongolian government, civil society and industry stakeholders to address challenges faced by the country’s mining sector through policy research and analysis, capacity building and policy dialogue.
Prior to joining NRGI, Dorjdari worked at Open Society Forum Mongolia where he led campaigns for the adoption of improved extractives governance measures, including the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), transparency of government budgets and government accountability. He has been a member of the country’s EITI board and the EITI Multi-stakeholder National Council. Dorjdari has also advised the government of Mongolia on mining contract transparency, analysis and negotiation. Prior to that, he worked for a rural development initiative in the Gobi region of Mongolia.
Dorjdari holds a M.A. in economics from Central European University and an undergraduate degree in financial management from Mongolian Science and Technology University. He speaks Mongolian, English and Russian.
